I could hear lots of fire trucks heading west around 4am. Looking out the window, I could see a large column of smoke.

Haoyong was in town, and we dragged Cyn and Michael to go hang out with Richard and Wei Wei. We went back to see their apartment after dinner; they have quite a view. Haoyong wanted to play Texas Holdem, and we used some go stones as chips. It was down to Richard and Deb before Haoyong declared that they were being too mellow and imposed a minimum ante.
James and Sasha were in town for the weekend for Scott's wedding. Mike also came for the wedding, and Chi just dropped by because people were here.

We also went kayaking the day before the wedding, but I did not bring my camera (because I wanted to try rolling) so I don't have any pictures. James has lots of pictures of that, but you may need a password to see them.
