Ellie and Dean were in town for a couple of weeks. Eileen had us over for dinner, and Mike drove up from Seattle for the event.

Fly HMY from Vancouver |
Taking off |
The weather was not unlike the stereotypical Vancouver weather - warm and drizzling. We went climbing with Bob, Jen, and Josha, and there was a cool view of the CN Tower on our way back to the car.

We had a feast of meat before meeting up with part of the buffet team who have converted to vegetarianism.

For the second day in a row we drove the 60km or so to Mississagua, this time to visit Kevin, Aleksandra, and Danny. For some strange reason, we saw Warren too.

Our last lunch in Toronto was dim sum with the Fobs (and groupies) at Sam Woo.
Mom made wontons for dinner, and Otto and Jenning came by before my flight. Otto even drove me to the airport. Thanks man!

I flew HMY Airways, flight HQ853, and Deb and Michael flew Jetsgo, flight SG309. SG309 was scheduled to leave YYZ a couple of hours before HQ853. We knew that it was delayed a bit, so I wandered over to their gate when I arrived the hour before my flight; they were all boarded, and the staff at the gate were tidying up, so I figured that they would actually arrive in YVR before me. HQ853 departed on time, arrived a few minutes early, and even fed us on board. Shocked was I to find upon arrival at YVR that SG309 had not yet arrived. Somehow, I was there to greet them as they arrived. You can get more Jetsgo stories by asking Deb and/or Michael.
